Hive5 Programs – Registration Agreement, Waiver & Terms and Conditions
By registering for any Hive5 Kids Inc. program, including camps, afterschool programs, classes, clubs, workshops, events, or activities (“Programs”), you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Registration & Information Accuracy
Parents/guardians must provide accurate and complete participant information, including emergency contacts, authorized pickup persons, medical conditions, allergies, medications, and behavioural information. You agree to notify Hive5 of any changes that may affect your child’s safety or participation. Hive5 reserves the right to refuse participation if required information is incomplete or inaccurate. - Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Hive5 Programs include STEAM activities, robotics, engineering projects, art, indoor playground use, physical activities, outdoor play, transportation, excursions, and use of tools and equipment. You acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks, including risk of injury. By registering, you voluntarily assume these risks and release Hive5 Kids Inc., its directors, staff, instructors, volunteers, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from participation, except where caused by gross negligence. In the event of illness or injury, you authorize Hive5 staff to obtain emergency medical treatment, and you accept responsibility for all associated costs. - Behaviour & Safety Policy
Hive5 maintains a safe and respectful environment. Participants must follow staff instructions, respect others and property, and participate safely. Hive5 reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, aggressive, or harmful. No refunds or credits will be issued in cases of dismissal due to behaviour. Parents/guardians accept responsibility for any damage caused by their child. - Attendance, Absences & Program Structure
Hive5 Programs operate as structured sessions and cannot be prorated. No refunds, credits, or make-up sessions are guaranteed for absences, illness, schedule conflicts, voluntary withdrawal, missed days, or dismissal due to behaviour. Make-up sessions or credits may be offered at Hive5’s sole discretion. - Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
Camp Programs:
• 30 days or more before start date: Full refund less 10% administrative fee
• 8–29 days before start date: 60% refund
• 7 days or less before start date: No refund
Classes, Afterschool, Clubs & Workshops:
• Withdrawal at least 7 days before program start: Refund less 10% administrative fee
• After program start: No refund
No refunds will be issued for absences, illness, voluntary withdrawal, or dismissal due to behaviour. Refund eligibility is based on the date the written request is received.
- Program Changes, Scheduling & Cancellation
Hive5 reserves the right to modify program schedules, activities, curriculum, instructors, or structure when necessary. If Hive5 cancels a program, a full refund or credit will be issued. Hive5 is not responsible for closures due to weather, emergencies, government orders, or circumstances beyond its control. - Transportation & Excursions
Some Programs may include transportation or off-site activities. By registering, you grant permission for your child to participate in supervised transportation and excursions unless otherwise specified. - Media Release
Unless written notice is provided, you grant Hive5 permission to photograph or record participants for educational and promotional purposes. These materials remain the property of Hive5 Kids Inc. - Personal Property
Hive5 is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. - Legally Binding Agreement
By completing registration and selecting “I Agree,” you confirm that you are the parent/legal guardian or authorized to register the participant, have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, and agree to all policies outlined above. This agreement is legally binding and equivalent to a signed contract.
