Description
This class and art activities are designed based on the important and active artists in the last centuries. Our lessons follow PROCESS ART. It’s not about the product that is created, but rather the learning that took place in the process. For instance, when we’re learning how to use fingerprints to create pointillism in Monet’s work, it’s perfectly acceptable for our students to use stamp pads instead. Our art invitations are just that invitations. It doesn’t mean that the lesson was a failure or that they don’t understand pointillism. Maybe our little artists just really, really needed to feel their whole hand on that stamp pad.Â
Our favorite artists to learn from them are:Â
- Barbara Hepworth Â
- Shirin NeshatÂ
- MondrianÂ
- Yayoi KusamaÂ
- Van GoghÂ
- PollockÂ
- Georgia O’Keeffe
- Kandinsky Â
No art background is needed, just bring out your inner creativity!Â
